Diver Safety Navigation System

As a freediver myself, I have experienced the horror of almost losing a friend who got carry away by current without noticing and the helplessness of not knowing where to look for her in the mass open ocean.

This inspired me to create a device that would be able to solve this problem. I started by asking "how does nature communicate underwater" using the website AskNature.com. And with the knowledge I gain from there, I used the method of biomimicry to propose my design solution.
